WatchDirectory starts any application when the contents of the folder that it is monitoring change. Whenever a file or directory is added, deleted or changed in the monitored directory the task that you have configured is started by watchDirectory. This makes watchDirectory an ideal choice if you want to automate boring, repetitive daily work that is based on changes to your file system.

WatchDirectory itself is a command line program that can easily be added to your system's start-up or run as a Windows Service. A Windows interface (the watchDirectory Control Center) is included, allowing you to configure watchDirectory.
